New Delhi, May 9, 2025 YouTuber and journalist Shyam Meera Singh has informed the Delhi High Court that he has complied with its interim order dated March 12, 2025, by taking down a video containing allegations against Isha Foundation and its founder, Jaggi Vasudev, popularly known as Sadhguru.

The matter was heard by Justice Jyoti Singh, who was apprised that the video titled “Sadhguru EXPOSED: What’s happening in Jaggi Vasudev’s Ashram?” had been removed as directed. The submission comes in response to a defamation suit filed by Isha Foundation, which had claimed that the contents of the video were defamatory, misleading, and based on unverified claims.

Previously, on March 12, Justice Subramonium Prasad had found that the Foundation had made out a prima facie case of defamation and directed the immediate takedown of the video. The Court also restrained Singh from reposting or circulating the content and barred the general public from re-uploading the same material on any digital platform.

During the latest hearing, counsel for Singh also sought additional time to file a detailed reply to the Foundation’s injunction application. Taking note of the compliance, the Court listed the matter before the Registrar on July 8, 2025, for completion of pleadings.

The next substantive hearing on the matter is scheduled for September 9, 2025.
